Summary[]
Morton academy have just experienced the loss of their head girl, Morgan. She drowned in the school’s lake. Everyone is upset, especially the members of Jewel and Bone. Jewel and Bone is a secret society, which matches students with sponsors who will pay for their college. Now that Morgan has died, her successor Jameela takes her spot, and Taylor takes Jameela’s post as deputy.
But soon the Jewel and Bone Society start dropping like flies. First, Jameela dies after she uses her inhaler, then Frank, who realized how suspicious Jameela’s death is. Then Emily slips on an oiled ladder while trying to fix a banner. Meanwhile, Taylor gets an infection from a Rusty nail in a make up brush, which eventually leads to sepsis. Finally Kat gets blugeoned to death in the gym. But the principal tries sweeping it all under the rug, and Liz and Cole get suspicious.
