  • Timewyrm: Exodus - Dicks' first Doctor Who novel and the second novel in the Timewyrm series. Shows the Seventh Doctor and Ace stopping the Nazis from taking over the world with the help of the War Chief and the Timewyrm.
  • Blood Harvest - the prelude to the Missing Doctor Adventures series. Shows the Seventh Doctor stopping a cabal of Time Lords.
  • Shakedown - an extended novelization of Shakedown: The Return of the Sontarans which adds a lot of new material and inserts the Seventh Doctor and his companions into the action.
  • The Eight Doctors - the (much-maligned) first novel in the Eighth Doctor Adventure series. Shows the amnesiac Eighth Doctor visiting his past incarnations.
  • Catastrophea - Dicks' first contribution to the Past Doctor Adventures series. Serves as a sequel/prequel to Frontier in Space.
  • Players - the first novel to feature the titular recurring antagonists. Shows the Sixth Doctor stopping the Players from warping the history of Winston Churchill.
  • Endgame - A part of the "Earth Arc". Shows the Eighth Doctor stopping the Players' "Endgame" during the fires of the Cold War.
  • Warmonger - serves as a prequel to The Brain of Morbius and shows Morbius' civil war.
  • Deadly Reunion (with Barry Letts) - shows the Brigadier (both in the "past" and the "present day") and the Third Doctor meeting the Greek gods.
  • World Game - shows the Second Doctor stopping the Players' manipulation of the Napoleonic War on the orders of the Time Lords.
