Jonathan Morris (1973-) is an author. Morris is best known for his work on Doctor Who.
Life[]
Born in the county town of Taunton in September of 1973, Morris was twenty-seven when he submitted a pitch called "The Beautiful Death" to BBC Books' Doctor Who range. This pitch was almost immediately accepted by then-editor Justin Richards and evolved into Morris' debut novel, Festival of Death (released in September of 2000).

Writing style[]
Morris' writing style is heavily influenced by the works of Douglas Adams (with this being most apparent in his novels Festival of Death and The Tomorrow Windows). He frequently touches upon the subject of altering the past going wrong (most notably in the afformentioned Festival of Death and the novel Touched by an Angel).
