Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone[]

Harry Potter has no idea how famous he is.

That's because he's being raised by his aunt and uncle who are terrified Harry will learn that he's really a wizard, just as his parents were. But everything changes when Harry is summoned to attend a famous school for wizards, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and he begins to discover some clues about his illustrious birthright. From his friendship with a friendly giant, to the unique curriculum and faculty at Hogwarts, Harry finds himself drawn deep inside a mystical world he never knew existed and closer to his own noble destiny. . .

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets[]

The Dursleys were so mean that summer that all Harry Potter wanted was to get back to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

But just as he's packing his bags, Harry receives a warning from a strange, impish creature called Dobby who claims that if Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts, disaster will strike.

And strike it does. For in Harry's second year at Hogwarts, fresh torments and horrors arise, including an outrageously stuck-up new professor, Gilderoy Lockhart, a spirit named Moaning Myrtle who haunts the girls' bathroom, and the unwanted attentions of Ron Weasley's younger sister, Ginny.

But each of these seem minor annoyances when the real trouble begins, and someone--or something--starts turning Hogwarts students to stone. Could it be Draco Malfoy, a more poisonous rival than ever? Could it possibly be Hagrid, whose mysterious past is finally told? Or could it be the one everyone at Hogwarts most suspects...Harry Potter himself?

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban[]

For twelve long years, the dreaded fortress of Azkaban held an infamous prisoner named Sirius Black.

Convicted of killing thirteen people with a single curse, he was said to be the heir apparent to the Dark Lord, Voldemort. Now he has escaped, leaving only two clues as to where he might be headed: Harry Potter's defeat of You-Know-Who was Black's downfall as well. And the Azkaban guards heard Black muttering in his sleep, "He's at Hogwarts . . . he's at Hogwarts." Harry Potter isn't safe, not even within the walls of his magical school, surrounded by his friends. Because on top of it all, there may well be a traitor in their midst.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire[]

Harry Potter is midway through his training as a wizard and his coming of age.

Harry wants to get away from the pernicious Dursleys and go to the International Quidditch Cup. He wants to find out about the mysterious event that's supposed to take place at Hogwarts this year, an event involving two other rival schools of magic, and a competition that hasn't happened for a hundred years. He wants to be a normal, fourteen-year-old wizard. But unfortunately for Harry Potter, he's not normal - even by wizarding standards. And in his case, different can be deadly.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix[]

Wizards from the Order of the Phoenix, an underground anti-Voldemort society, come to rescue Harry and take him to a hideout.

Once Harry is acquitted of all charges, he finds out that Albus Dumbledore is extremely aloof, and that Cornelius Fudge and Percy Weasley do not believe that Voldemort has come back to power.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince[]

It is the middle of the summer, but there is an unseasonal mist pressing against the windowpanes.

Harry Potter is waiting nervously in his bedroom at the Dursleys' house in Privet Drive for a visit from Professor Dumbledore himself. One of the last times he saw the headmaster was in a fierce one-to-one duel with Lord Voldemort, and Harry can't quite believe that Professor Dumbledore will actually appear at the Dursleys' of all places. Why is the Professor coming to visit him now? What is it that cannot wait until Harry returns to Hogwarts in a few weeks' time? Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts has already got off to an unusual start, as the worlds of Muggle and magic start to intertwine...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows[]

Harry has been burdened with a dark, dangerous and seemingly impossible task: locating and destroying Voldemort's remaining Horcruxes.

Never has Harry felt so alone or faced a future so full of shadows. But Harry must somehow find within himself the strength to complete the task he has been given. He must leave the warmth, safety and companionship of The Burrow and follow without fear or hesitation the inexorable path laid out for him...
