Doctor Who is a science fiction television series that was created in 1963. An extremely long-running series, it has had numerous tie-in novels and comics (with many being created during the "Wilderness Years" - the gap between the cancellation of "Classic Who" and the creation of "New Who", the 1990s and early 2000s).
Releases[]
Novelizations[]
The main novelization range is the Target Novelizations. Published by Target Books, these novelizations were published largely during Classic Who - with most running under 200 pages. Many were written by Terrance Dicks. Almost every serial of Classic Who was novelized by Target - with the gaps being Douglas Adams' serials and Eric Saward's Dalek serials.
Currently, the Target line has been continued - with novelizations of New Who episodes being published.
