Beyonders is a trilogy written by Brandon Mull. Started in 2011 with A World Without Heroes, it is set in another world called Lyrian where it is ruled by a malicious wizard emperor called Maldor. Jason and Rachel, the protagonists, have set it upon themselves to save Lyrian from being encompassed by Maldor's rule.

A World Without Heroes[]
