If a book that is in the public domain like Jane Austen's has fanfic books that are actually published could we add those or not and if so would they have to go under the category of like let's say "Pride and Prejudice"?
What's on your mind?

Why are there so many Doctor Who pages on here?
Just Updated
hello yall I’ve had this idea for a little and im pretty sure we ain’t got a suggestions thread so. it’s going here
i think we should have a little like. wikian review section at the edge of each page on a book or series. like you can have a star rating, whatever text or review you want and then your username with a link to your profile
i think this would also be good if people are looking to find opinions by people similar to them on a specific book. often when i go and look for reviews on a book im thinking of getting theyre all by like nyt bestselling authors or random middle aged parents? and so i feel like it would be good to have easily accessible reviews from people in our age group
also the reason im not just adding it myself is cause i feel like it would be a pretty big formatting change, felt like i should ask an admin but majority of admins are inactive so im just putting it here and hopefully someone sees it
anyways sorry you had to read all that i couldve probably made it a lot shorter
adios frens !!!!
edit: theres a suggestion board but im pretty sure nobody checks that and there hasnt been a suggestion for like a year. ill put this there too though just because
what's your favorite classic?
I read Harry Potter when I was 6, and I read pjo eight after it was published
I didn't read the hunger games but I read the maze runner last year
Do any of you guys have any ya dystopia and/or sci-fi recommendations with little to no romance? Because I either get romance that takes over plot at times OR have love triangles. I hate those with a burning intensity(ex. Matched, or like Divergent) books I really don’t understand at all/are too adult for a fourteen year old (ex. The Handmaid’s Tale, 1984)
Im asking for something like The Giver?? Kinda like that balance of no romance and YA dystopia/sci-fi. I haven’t found another book with that balance yet ;-; (Except maybe The Razorland Trilogy, there was romance but not too much. Gone is a good example as well)
Can we make it so that people are able to add pages again? Seems somewhat unnecessary to block off page creation now that most (if not all) of the page spam has been removed.
I guess I could make them in blog posts, but I can't move them anywhere (anymore) and it feels REALLY clunky to have to do it this way. Not averse to having to do it this way, but I'd prefer the ability to just make new pages in the main wiki framework.
Will try to keep page spam to an absolute minimum and only make pages once I'm sure there's enough info to keep them above ~1000-2000 bytes. Anything below then will be put into a blog post until I can find more information.
Idk which one to do. On the one hand, FANDOM's kinda driving itself into a trashfire ending and it might be time to jump ship. On the other hand, moving could be an extreme hassle and I don't want it to be a kneejerk reaction.
Perhaps we just make a backup wiki somewhere else (miraheze or some other FANDOM alternative). Idk though.
Ask me for book reccomendations. lmk in the comments ur fave genre and ur fave and least favorite tropes (all reccs will be smutless)
Instead of deleting these pages, can we just move them to an english title? Unless they're english books with non-english titles like Los Gusanos. Seems like a more efficient method of dealing with these pages instead of just deleting them and then having to remake them.

for me my notifs load really slowly when im on mw, profiles, etc. it works just fine on discussions or articles. is this a bug or smth wrong with my end?
thx guys and merry xmas eve if u celebrate !!
so i feel like as a book lover i should be adding more pages to the wiki. and idrk where to start. obviously my main goal is to finish unfinished pages but idk how- like what info needs to be added? what needs to be changed? etc.
sorry if this is an annoying question hehe i just don't know what to...do?
thx guys!
Hey guys, I've been thinking about changing our theme up a bit to match our topic better.
What do you guys think of this for a dark theme?
If you have any specific changes you'd like, or if you just generally like/dislike this please tell me either in the comments or on my Message Wall.
The Book Lovers Experimental Wiki: The Book Lovers Wiki (New Theme)
Home page (Regular View)
Home page (Zoomed Out)
Note: The background image will likely be the same for both light and dark themes
New ScrollBar Light & Dark Theme (What do y'all think about this?)
New Logo Light & Dark Theme (What do y'all think about this?)
For me I have forgotten everything below 3rd grade. I remember reading Holes and Wayside school books at read aloud time in class, or reading The Outsiders in 6th grade. Or Bridge to Terabithia in 5th (that ending made the whole class cry, also everyone in my class was loving the d*****d to h*ll scene too). Also in high school with Animal Farm and the Great Gatsby.
SO! I'm asking you what books you remember reading and some stories or just the book that YOU remember reading, and hey, maybe we read the same things!
Could anyone else here help me add info to the author pages? I don’t have the ability to do all of them. I’m not blaming anyone, but it would be nice to have less blank/empty pages.
Thanks!

Goodreads has pages for them (largely Big Finish's output).
Here's an example of one:

Does it apply to wiki pages or is it only in stuff like forums and message walls.
If its the former, some books are going to be a headache to make synopses for (mostly because of their "good old ultraviolence").
Also is it possible to put spoilers onto text in fandom like with discord since we could use that to hide possible triggers.
Okay, because my last one of these was dr. seuss, you can tell I read a lot of childrens books (I volunteer at places with a lot of young kids, so...)
But I was just wondering if we could make a Mo Williams page because he's an author and I read too much Piggy and Gerald as a kid lol
Can we not make character pages on this wiki?
Reasons:
This is a book wiki (i know it's also random stuff but)
It's not needed if the book has it's own wiki (ex: KoftLC)
Just saying...
