what's your favorite classic?
what's your favorite classic?
Heidi is pretty known where I live, I can't imagine people not knowing it.
Anyways, I've read some Dostoevsky, Tolkien, Verne, and a lot of other stuff I'm forgetting right now.
No by choice
I just read To Kill a Mockingbird and i hated it
I’ve read Of Mice and Men, and guess what, hated it
The Outsiders, which I actually really liked!
Charlotte’s Web was ok, but eh
Idk i dont really like classic books, they’re hard to read for me, i loose interest
Little women was ok. so was To Kill a Mockingbird. I read Charlotte' s Web in second grade and I think I enjoyed it. idk what other books ive read would be considered classics
Heidi
To Kill A Mockingbird
Of Mice And Men (Twice bc I switched schools and they had a different reading curriculum for each grade)
And many others I can't recall at the top of my head
Do Charlie in the Chocolate Factory and Matilda count as classics??
I think my favorite is Of Mice And Men bc of the memory of the school year I first read it in.
Yes both those count as classics
i've read a lot of h.g. wells' books. i particularly enjoyed the island of dr. moreau. i've also read a clockwork orange, frankenstein, the house on mango street, 1984, black beauty, charlotte's web, most of hans christian andersen's fairy tales, and many others.
I have read Of Mice and Men, Beowulf, Animal Farm,The Old Man and The Sea, The Giver, The Outsiders, Lord of the Flies, Tuck Everlasting, and The Yellow Wallpaper.
^^weird question, but is Frankenstein like Dracula; wordy, in a weird perspective, old fashioned way of grammar?
^ Frankenstein was published in the early 1800s
Yeah i know that, but I’m asking how it’s written. Like (ok gonna sound weird) but how the book feels in your head. Idk
What do you think?
