We’re unit 922, a set of third-year scholars at WUNSOC. Welcome!
The obligatory set of rules:
Be nice, hate the character, not the user, wiki guidelines are the law, blah blah blah, etcetera.
NO WUNDERSMITHS. It ruins the purpose, as Wundersmiths are rare. Also, Wundersmiths tended to not be in units.
This may be a bit restrictive, but can we try not to make Witnesses? It’s a fairly rare knack and I think it’d be a bit weird to have someone have the same knack as Jupiter. If you really want a witness though, don’t let me stop you.
A maximum of two characters per person.
KNACK EXPLANATION:
Knacks have basically the same concept as Quirks. (MHA) They’re little special abilities that you’re born with, like speaking to dogs or being incredible at making hats. For example, Jupiter North (One of the MC’s.) is a witness. He can see a living thing or inanimate object’s emotions and memories. The downside is you see all the bad along with the good, and need training to filter through properly. There are two groups of Knacks (Three if you count Wundersmiths.) Arcane and Mundane. Arcane is more magical, healers, mesmerists, and the like, while mundane is like gymnastics, intelligence, fighting, etcetera. Wundersmiths are incredibly special, as there’s only nine in the world at one time. They have access to nine magical arts.
Nocturne, the ability to summon Wunder.
Inferno, the ability to make fire from Wunder.
Weaving, the ability to create with Wunder.
Ruination, the ability to destroy with Wunder.
Masquerade, the ability to change one’s appearance with Wunder.
Veil, the ability to hide by using Wunder.
Tempus, the art of speeding up, slowing down, and pausing time with, you guessed it, Wunder.
Unnamed eighth and ninth art.
And that leads to the next question, what is a Wundersmiths? Well, they control Wunder, an abundant natural resource that you can use to do pretty much anything. Anyone can learn the Wundrous arts, but it’s like learning an incredibly hard language. For a Wundersmith, it’s like discovering you already knew how to speak that language.
WUNSOC EXPLANATION:
WUNSOC, or the Wunderous Society, is a special organization for people with knacks. They undergo a test when they’re eleven, and compete with several hundred other children to earn a spot in the WS. You have to be picked by a member of the WS, or sponsored, as they call it. After that, there are four trials. The first three always vary, but the fourth is the show trial, where they show off their knacks. If you make it on to the leaderboard by the end of the trial, you get in to the WS. The WS is there to protect the safety of Nevermoor, but do make controversial decisions. Their current purpose is to get rid of all the monsters Ezra Squall (Very dangerous, completely ruined the Wundersmith’s good name, tried to take over Nevermoor.) made, but they also started pushing how bad Wundersmiths were, which made it hard for Morrigan.
