WHERE PAEDYN DANCES WITH KAI?? THERES LITERALLY THE SAME SCENE IN RED QUEEN WHERE MARE DANCES WITH CAL?? they both say 'oh I wouldn't want u to step on my bros feet all night tho' and like WHAT its so similar like the same scene rewritten??

Hello! For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Bean she/her, on the Keeper of the Lot Cities wiki and that’s about it. I was looking for new wikis when I stumbled across this one and omg it’s perfect! I loves books and reading so much I’m amazed I haven’t seen this wiki before! I always have a book with me even when I know I won’t have time to read!

Bc it's stupid and I've been wanting to rant for SO LONG

1: Someone explain to me why I have to write an essay in history class, and read about history in english class.

2: Find the answer for 40+40x0+1

In elementary, you were taught logic. AKA 40+40= 80x0=0+1=1

In high school, you're taught order of operations. AKA PEMDAS. 40x0=0+40+1=41

What's the point of teaching us things that contradict.

3: They want you to skip school if you're sick, but you get in trouble for skipping too many days even if you are sick.

4:Literally almost NOTHING is an excused absence/tardy anymore. Whether it's illness, personal issues, family issues, TRAFFIC, or work, school doesn't care. I left school early and came back for personal reasons. They gave me an old-school tardy slip that said "excused absence: personal reasons." I looked online, it was not excused. That old-school tardy slip isn't even relevant anymore.

5: Why does college need my SAT score, my ACT score, and my two SBAC scores ALL DURING JUNIOR YEAR. People told me junior year was hard. No one told me it was bc of testing. Why do I need a generic test to tell me that I want to learn beyond high school? Not to mention that half of the stuff on the tests are stuff I have no idea about bc they gave a general test for schools who teach differently so some topics haven't even been covered.

I found the whole series in a random box and I've heard a little about if but I want to know if its good.

So the gods are more powerful as more people believe in them, right? And if people stop believing in them their power fades. What if the same is true for the demigods?

Like Percy got stronger because he got older, yes, but also because people believed he was capable of more destruction. The Romans fear Neptune, so they were afraid of him. That affected his powers somewhat negatively if I remember correctly. After he reunites with Tyson and Annabeth, people who believe in him, he gets stronger again.

The same with Nico. when he was younger he wasn't that strong with his powers at all. As he grew, people believed in his destructive abilities more and he got stronger.

Piper used her charmspeak to steal cars and stuff like that before she knew she was a demigod. I assume she had to practice to get better at it. We see in the books that she has people believing in her ability, and she is able to talk gods and monsters down.

I just think it would be interesting to see how much everyone's belief would affect the strength of the demigods and their powers. I also think their belief in themselves and what they are capable of helps as well.

i went to public school for a year and now i'm at a private school

i think being irl has really helped me

and ik i literally said i wouldn't come back

and i don't think that version of me is ever going to come back tbh

for those of you who don't know i have a lot of anxiety

and 2023 rae was really really really anxious

and i still have a lot of anxiety, but i'm better at managing it now

My online author's/writing name is Skyler Elphinstone (NOT my real name, just in terms of making it more realistic), and as proven by that info, I do write stories in my free time. My favourite genres are crime/detective and high fantasy, my favourite book series is The Seeker series by S. G. MacLean (fave book is House of Lamentations), I also like Harry Potter, PJO, Pax, Anne of Green Gables and the Greg Keyes novels.

I just finished Hooked, it’s like a Peter Pan inspired dark romance and that’s it i officially love dark romance it’s got plot it’s got romance, it’s not really much of a commitment (for me). I mean, what else could you ask for? Anyways tell me about your current or latest reads!
